We’re looking for friendly and dependable Part-Time Team Member to join our wine shop in Washington. If you enjoy talking to people, have some retail or customer service experience, and like learning about wines, this job will be a great fit.

The role is pretty simple but fun helping customers, keeping the shop organized, stocking inventory, and sometimes joining us for wine tastings as part of the job. We’re a small, supportive team, so you’ll get hands-on experience right from day one.

 

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Job Type: Part-Time (20–25 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: From $16.50/hr
Experience: Entry-Level / Retail / Customer Service

Work Schedule

  • Around 20–25 hours per week
  • Sunday to Tuesday (Wednesday optional / negotiable)
  • Need to be flexible with timing

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and offer friendly, helpful service
  • Assist shoppers with basic wine recommendations (don’t worry — we help you learn)
  • Stock shelves, carry boxes (35–40 lbs), sometimes up to 50 cases
  • Keep store clean, light sweeping, organizing, etc.
  • Run the POS system for purchases
  • Help with store’s social media posts or engagement (if you’re into that)

 

Requirements for Part time team member job in Washington

  • Retail or customer service experience (must-have)
  • Basic wine knowledge is nice, but not required
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Able to work independently without much supervision
  • Must be 21+ (because wine tastings are included)
  • Reliable, mature, and comfortable lifting boxes
  • Interest in social media is a plus
